Cashflow Payment Initiative

Cash flow management program, pilot payment recognition initiative

Coutts Redington is the only accounting firm in Northern Queensland participating in the Cash Flow Management Program.

This is an Australian Taxation Office (ATO) initiative to help small businesses manage ATO debt repayments through better cash flow management. Our involvement in this program means that we and our eligible clients have access to a special payment recognition initiative.

The aim of this program is to seek the following benefits. One, improve small businesses cash flow. Two, improve the overall understanding of business cash flow. Three, provide feedback to the ATO on tools they are developing to support Australian small business and their registered tax practitioners.

If you complete the program you can apply for an 18 month interest free payment plan that covers your existing debt to the ATO. To participate you will have to meet the following criteria before 30 June 2017:

  • Complete the Cash flow Management Program
  • Have annual turnover of less than $2 Million
  • Have a total debt of $50,000 or less. this debt must be less than 12 months old
  • Have no previous payment plan with this program
  • Have no more than one payment plan default within the last 12 months
  • Have no outstanding activity statement lodgement

If you are interesting in an 18 month interest free payment plan of your existing debt, and you satisfy the above criteria, then please contact our office for a confidential discussion about how you can become involved in this Cash Flow Management initiative.

We will then arrange for an engagement letter and an appointment in order to facilitate your involvement and liaise with the Australian Taxation Office for the 18 month interest free plan.
